The whole fucking world has gone fucking insane

As if it weren't enough that the world is populated with stupid fucks and morons, it has come to my attention that the whole world has gone fucking insane.

Yes, absolutely fucking insane. Balmy. Raving mad.

Take, for example, a small section of the world, the United States. Land of freedom and opportunity, they say. A place not like most others, where government criticism is encouraged, and free speech held sacrosanct. OH, but wait! I feel a contradiction coming on! We're dealing with government and politics and that means dealing with people which means we must now go insane with sweeping contradictions.

In a prior rant, I went on about how contradiction is fundamentally wrong. I'm not going to go on about that again, and assume that you can read that rant and understand why.

Consider the present goings-on inside the government concerning flag burning. Many people find flag burning distasteful. Many people find the Christian Bible distasteful too. Personally, I find Diane Feinstein distasteful when she says things like this:

No other emblem or symbol in our nation carries with it such a specific code of conduct in its protocol for display and handling. Why then, should it be permissible conduct to burn, desecrate, or destroy this symbol, this monument, this national symbol? That's not my definition of free speech.
Well, Diane, my definition of free speech is that everyone gets to talk, except for stupid bitches like you. Welcome to the club of Stupid Fucks. The Supreme Court has already determined that flag burning is protected under the first amendment. Ironically, the very "desecration" you're going on about is the one of the things the symbol stands for. Think about it carefully. Oh, right. Forgot that you're a stupid fuck, Diane. That means you are unable to think about anything carefully. Just listen then.
Free speech and government criticism are part of what that flag stands for. The flag means the flag can be burned.
Yes, you might find it upsetting. Yes, you disagree with it. But honestly, I don't give a fuck what you think, because you're a stupid bitch. You want to contradict one of the core principles that is protected by what the flag stands for.

What's even worse is that this Feinstein bitch is supposed to be a liberal, which traditionally means being left-winged on what free speech includes. Further self-contradiction. On to the next stupid fuck. This gem is brought to us by Senator Orrin Hatch of Utah (probably already a stupid fuck because he's from a Mormon state):

Restoring legal protection to the American flag would not infringe on free speech. If burning the flag were the only means of expressing dissatisfaction with the nation's policies, then I imagine that I, too, might oppose this amendment. But we live in a free and open society.
This is almost as good as the contradiction from the prop 22 literature. Let's compress, shall we?
Restoring legal protection to the American flag would not infringe on free speech...we live in a free and open society.

Grog no like! Grog destroy!

WHAT? What the hell is wrong with these people? Have they gone mad? Allow me to compress and paraphrase:
It should be illegal to burn the flag. We value free speech.

Orrin Hatch, you are a moron. Both you and Diane burn the flag every hour in your hearts and minds.

So you might be asking yourself now, why is it that this is an issue suddenly? Oh, that's right! It's an election year!

Politicians voting for this amendment should be burned as an alternative to burning the flag.
